In 2008 St. Edmund`s became the first congregation in Wisconsin to withdraw from the increasingly liberal Episcopal Church and join the Anglican Realignment movement, a growing, conservative movement of Anglicans in the United States and Canada defending the supreme authority of Holy Scripture and traditional Christian faith and practice.
