High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Stephen Glass (born 1972) is a former American journalist, known for serial fraud in his articles. Over a three year period as a young rising star at the prestigious national magazine, The New Republic, from 1995 to 1998, he fabricated quotations, sources, and even entire events in articles he wrote for that magazine and others. He was fired when his deceptions came to light. Glass did not participate in or profit from the film Shattered Glass. Glass fictionalized his own story in a 2003 novel whose protagonist is named "Stephen Aaron Glass".
