Dogra (Tirath Das Dogra), born on 18 July 1947 at Bhoi Brahmana, 30 kilometres from Jammu, on the banks of the Basantar River, the present day border with Pakistan (Shakargarh) in family of Saraswat Brahmins to Sri Prem Nath Dogra and Gayano Devi Dogra. He was educated and bought up in Bikaner, Rajasthan where his father was posted in 1959 and finally settled permanently in 1961. He graduated in Medicine from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner Rajasthan; he joined AIIMS New Delhi in 1971.After his superannuation he joined SGT Group of Institution as Director General.
