She debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 17 May 2010. Texas was introduced by producer Paul Marquess as the on-screen sister of established character India Longford. Texas was initially portrayed as a "quite light and quite daft" character. Her first main storyline began in the aftermath of her sister, India`s murder and her subsequent grief storyline and later being targeted by her killer. The character has also featured in the online spin-off series, Hollyoaks: Freshers.
