The Naked Archaeologist was a television show originally produced for VisionTV in Canada that was hosted and prepared by the Emmy Award-winning journalist Simcha Jacobovici. The show ultimately reviewed Biblical stories, then tried to find proof for them by exploring the holy lands looking for archaeological evidence, personal inferences, deductions, and interviews which sometimes included scholars. Subsequent to its original run, it has been carried in the U.S. on The History Channel and its sister network, History International. Vision TV has announced that a third season will begin March 22, 2010.
