There's One in Every Crowd is a 1975 album by blues rocker Eric Clapton. Recorded shortly after 461 Ocean Boulevard, There's One in Every Crowd features a style very similar to its predecessor, but did not enjoy similar commercial success. After the success of "I Shot the Sheriff" single Eric and his backing band went to Jamaica to record "There's One in Every Crowd". However with Eric's growing alcohol problem and problems in Jamaica, the record was very hard to record. Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (born 30 March 1945) is an English blues-rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer. Clapton is the only person who has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times; as a solo performer, as well as a member of rock bands the Yardbirds and Cream.
