MacFarlaine is now the bassist for a UK rockband called Stone Gods, with the remaining members of the now defunct UK rock band The Darkness. He regualry writes blogs for the band and has started to make a name for himself through many interviews and articles. McFarlaine was also in the band Thirteen:13, and has toured with Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley and Irish indie rock band JJ72.
