Tom Brosseau is an American musical storyteller and guitarist, born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota.He tours and performs in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Taiwan. In the Los Angeles area his home club is Largo. His song "How to Grow a Woman from the Ground" was covered by Chris Thile, who released a 2006 album of the same name. One Take New York, in association with Le Blogotheque, filmed 2 Take-Away Show acoustic video sessions in New York. In 2009 Fat Cat records released Brosseau's Posthumous Success, an album influenced by Albert Camus and the great Flannery O'Connor. Brosseau described himself as being a ghost in an interview with NPR's Liane Hansen for All Things Considered. Currently Tom is working on an album of minidisc recordings from 2003 to be released on Fat Cat in 2010.
