After graduating from University College Galway with a degree in Commerce, and a time working in ad sales, Lynskey and his partner Niall McGarry set up Impact Media in Galway, in 2003. Since winning the Shell LiveWire West of Ireland Young Entrepreneur award in 2004, the company has grown significantly. Impact Media is now generally recognised as one of the leading advertising, marketing and digital agencies outside Dublin, and has worked with clients such as Supermacs, Eircom, Galway Arts Festival, Dromoland Castle and Galway Oyster Festival, as well as Irish sporting personalities such as Ronan O`Gara and Jerry Flannery.
