Tomi Petteri Putaansuu (born 15 February 1974, Rovaniemi, Finland), better known by his stage name Mr. Lordi, is the lead vocalist in the Finnish metal quintet Lordi. Mr. Lordi, who has been interested in hard rock since he was a boy, is a fan of Kiss. He formed Lordi, a hard rock band. He studied film making in Tornio and, while there, created Lordi's first music video. His band Lordi went on to win the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, scoring the most points for a single entry ever, this record was beaten on Eurovision Song Contest 2009 by the Norwegian artist Alexander Rybak
