Tommy Turbo and The Turbervilles are a three-piece Indie/Soul band based in North Staffordshire. They originally performed under the name Raphaels. After joining the label in late 2007 the band cycled through various different band names, costing the SONS Ltd over 100 in domain names. The band finally settled on Raphaels. Under this new title Tom Lovett and the band released their debut single – ‘Charming Man' in February 2007. The release scored an Indie Chart No.4 It was noted for its quirky arrangements and catchy melody and received national airplay across BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Xfm.
