She was portrayed by Laura Hill from 2001 until 2008.She was briefly married to nurse Matt McAllister in 2002 until he cheated on her with Li Mei Chen. She was also romantically involved with doctors Adam Heywood and Logan King.She was nursing manager at Shortland Street Hospital and head nurse of the Primary Care Clinic where she worked with Callum McKay. She married Dr. Chris Warner in 2004, they separated in 2007. Toni had a younger brother, Dominic Thompson who killed Dr. Geoff Greenlaw and PA Avril Lucich, before accidentally killing himself in 2004. Her mother Ngaire is a gold digger and was very keen for her to 'marry into money', but her father has not been seen on screen.
