O'Donnell is the only naturopathic doctor in America who actually shows, on television, the therapeutic benefits of raw herbs. He is the founder and president of an innovative health and nutrition company, which produces the enzyme-rich superfood formula, America's Favorite Superfood.O'Donnell was born into a family of 11 children in Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland. His father Joe died from heart disease in 1979 when O'Donnell was 21. Four other members of his family to cancer. This included his fiancee, Jill Flanter, who died from ovarian cancer. These experiences motivated O'Donnell to take control of his own health and help others to lead healthier lives. He left Ireland for America in 1987. He is currently in a relationship with Catie from Nebraska.
