Transterminologization in Uzbek language

In the monograph, the semantic method of formation of terms, that is the specific role of transterminologization was first investigated in the monograph. It first analyzed the sociolinguistic factors of the formation of terms by semantic method. Models of transterms have been developed, and a new assessment of the role of transterms in generating duplication and variation has been made. The work has shown that metaphor plays a special role in the transterminologization of certain sphere terms into other areas. The study also clarified the scope of terms emerging from the evolutionary movement, and re-evaluated the role of transterms in the emergence of phenomena such as duplication and variation in certain field terminology systems. It is theoretically proved in the study that semantic formulation is widespread in terms of terminology, and that this method has a long history.
