The population was 4,960 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.7 km ), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 4,960 people, 1,741 households, and 1,448 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,668.5 people per square mile (644.8/km ). There were 1,810 housing units at an average density of 608.9/sq mi (235.3/km ).
