Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. UCBLogo is a free Logo implementation developed by Brian Harvey and his students at the University of California, Berkeley. Like many other implementations, it provides a Logo interpreter with tail call elimination. It was written in the C programming language and runs on Windows, Mac OS X, as well as various Unix-like operating systems, such as Linux and FreeBSD. LOGO is a computer programming language used for functional programming. It is an adaptation and dialect of the Lisp language; some have called it Lisp without the parentheses. Today, it is known mainly for its turtle graphics, but it also has significant facilities for handling lists, files, I/O, and recursion.
