High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Uma Aventura no Tempo (Portuguese for An Adventure Through Time) is a 2007 Brazilian animated film based on the Monica's Gang comic books. The film was directed and co-written by Mauricio de Sousa, creator of over two hundred characters featured in the comic books. The film begins with Franklin finishing the building of his time travel machine and explaining to his dog Blu that it works with the synthesis of the four elements. Not far away from his office, Jimmy Five and Smudge are planning an "unfailible plan" to steal Monica's blue rabbit toy, Samson. Eventually, the plan fails, and Monica, which was engaged in a picnic with Maggy, discovers it. Jimmy Five and Smudge rush into Franklin's office to hide from Monica. Monica and Maggy go there, and Monica, trying to beat up the boys, accidentally throws her rabbit on Franklin's machine, causing the elements to travel to different periods of time. Franklin sends each one of them to a different period in order to find the elements and bring them back to his office.
