It was released in Australia on 27 May 2011 through Peace & Riot/EMI. The album was recorded at BJB Studios and Oceanic Studios in Sydney, Australia, throughout January and February 2011. It was produced and engineered by five time ARIA Award winning producer Paul McKercher, and mixed by Scott Horscroft. The album was nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the 2011 25th Anniversary ARIA Music Awards, and it has also been nominated for the 2011 Triple J J Award for Album of the Year.
