University Station (previously known as South Campus Station until 2003), is the last and most northerly station on the Buffalo Metro Rail line.Located on the south side of Main Street (just east of Niagara Falls Boulevard), this station operates as a major hub for Metro Rail, as well as the largest transfer point outside of Downtown Buffalo between buses.In addition, this station offers a unique "Kiss and Ride" facility on the top level, above the ticket mezzazine. This allows drivers of passengers getting dropped off at the station not to add to the traffic congestion from buses already apparent at the station during rush-hour periods.
