The University of Illinois College of Law (UIUC Law) is the law school of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the flagship campus of the public University of Illinois university system. In the 2010 U.S. News and World Report ranking of American law schools, the College of Law gained two places over its ranking for 2009, and was rated 21st in the country.The College of Law was founded in 1897 and is a charter member of the Association of American Law Schools. The law honor society known as the Order of the Coif was founded at the University of Illinois College of Law in 1902.
