It was founded by Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback Jordan Palmer, brother and teammate of Carson Palmer, along with high school friends John Shahidi and Sam Shahidi. The company was originally was founded when the 3 owners thought it would be fun to make an app for the popular website RunPee.com, a site that lists the best times to use a restroom during a movie. On July 2, 2009, Rock Software released the RunPee Mobile app, where users can look up the best times to run to the restroom while sitting in a movie. In the summer of 2009, Jordan arrived to Bengals training camp and showed teammate Chad Ochocinco the RunPee app which lead to Chad asking Jordan to build him an iPhone app. This lead to the popular Chad Ochocinco Experience, the first iPhone app made for an athlete.
