She was laid down as SC-500 on 27 February 1942 by the Fisher Boat Works in Detroit, Michigan, and launched on 11 October 1942. She was commissioned as USS SC-500 on 31 March 1942. She was transferred to the Soviet Navy as part of the Lend-Lease program on 9 June 1945 as BO-319. Her exact fate is unknown.
