The Utes represent the University of Utah for intercollegiate football games. He was the head coach from 1950 until the end of the 1957 season. Curtice compiled a 45–32–4 record (.580) during his eight years as head coach at Utah and had a record of 32–9–2 (.767) in conference play. He won four conference championships in the Skyline Conference.
