High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Valdur is a black/death metal band formed in 2003 in Mammoth Lakes, California. Mammoth Lakes is located on the eastern border of California in the Eastern Sierra mountain range, just north of Mt. Whitney. The band's first release was a Demo with the name Valdur in 2005, an effort which would give the group heavy exposure and lead to a record contract with Bloody Mountain Records. They released their first full-length Album three months later. The next year the band released two split albums: Massemord / The Frost / Valdur and Lightning Swords of Death / Valdur. Up coming releases include a vinyl 7", a 3-way split with Killgasm and Shitestrom, and a new full length.
