High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Vicki Fujii Matsumori (born December 15, 1950) was the second counselor to Cheryl C. Lant in the general presidency of the Primary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2005 to 2010. Vicki Fujii was born in Murray, Utah. Her parents were not members of the LDS Church, but they sent her to a local LDS congregation as a child. When Vicki was eight years old, she was baptized a member of the church. Later, when Vicki was in high school, her parents also became members of the church. In 1973, she married James Matsumori in the Salt Lake Temple. Matsumori obtained a degree in journalism and English from the University of Utah in 1973.
