Victoria de los Angeles (in Catalan, Victoria dels Angels) (1 November 1923 – 15 January 2005) was a Spanish Catalan operatic soprano and recitalist of the highest rank whose career began in the early 1940s and reached its height in the years from the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s. The Times obituary noted that she must be counted “among the finest singers of the second half of the 20th century”. James Hinton Jnr for Opera magazine in 1954 praised her "meltingly lovely middle voice". Elizabeth Forbes, writing in The Independent on 17th January 2005, also noted that "It is impossible to imagine a more purely beautiful voice than that of Victoria de los Angeles at the height of her career in the 1950s and early 1960s".
