Victoria Frances (October 25, 1982) is a Spanish illustrator known for her goth-inspired art. Frances was born in Valencia but spent much of her infancy in Galicia. The forests of that region fascinated her from early childhood. After traveling to cities like London and Paris she was hypnotized by the atmosphere there, the same that brought to life legendary masterpieces of Gothic literature. Her illustrations and sketches recall the dreamlike world of Gothic Romanticism. She attended the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where she studied Fine Arts at the Facultad de Bellas Artes de San Carlos. There she started working as an illustrator while also designing various book covers and other commissioned pieces.
