High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The Victorian Community History Awards were inaugurated and sponsored by Information Victoria Bookshop from 1998 to 2010. From 2011 the Awards were administered by the Royal Historical Society of Victoria in partnership with Public Record Office Victoria. The awards presented are to recognise "the importance of local and community history as a form of collective memory" and to recognise excellence in historical research.
