High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! In mathematics, particularly geometry, Viviani's curve, also known as Viviani's window, is a space curve generated by four windows on a hemispherical dome so that the dome is rectifiable. It is named after the Italian mathematician Vincenzo Viviani. An interesting property of Viviani's curve is that it is a spherical curve, meaning that it can be plotted on a sphere. Mathematics is the study of quantity, structure, space, and change. Mathematicians seek out patterns, formulate new conjectures, and establish truth by rigorous deduction from appropriately chosen axioms and definitions. There is debate over whether mathematical objects such as numbers and points exist naturally or are human creations. The mathematician Benjamin Peirce called mathematics "the science that draws necessary conclusions".
