Although only five members appeared on the show, Vogue Evolution consists of more dancers and sees itself as a movement moreso than only a dance crew.Assembled in early 2008, Vogue Evolution brought voguing to mainstream media when in August of 2009 five members; Malechi Williams, Jorel Rios (aka Prince), Dashaun Williams, and Devon Webster (aka Pony) and a Puerto Rican transgendered woman, Leiomy Maldonado competed on Season 4 of America's Best Dance Crew until September 6 when eliminated in 5th place.
