From here on the company has continued to expand forming many subsidiaries; GrantPlant Ltd, GrantRail Signalling Ltd, GrantRail Power Ltd, ALH Rail Coatings Ltd, and GrantWeld Ltd established in 2002. In September 2006 the GrantRail Group also acquired Matrix Power Ltd, which is a specialist engineering company that works mainly in the electrical and power sectors.
