High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Vuosaari (Finnish) or Nordsjo (Swedish) is a ground-level station on the southern branch (Itakeskus - Vuosaari) of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the district of Vuosaari in East Helsinki, and is the terminus of the branch.The station was opened on 31 August 1998, making it one of the newest stations on the Helsinki Metro. It was designed by the architect bureau Esa Piironen Oy. It is located 1.2 kilometres from the Rastila metro station. The terminus at the other end, Ruoholahti metro station, is 16 kilometres away.
