The population was 1,115 at the 2000 census.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 11.0 square miles (28.5 km ), of which, 11.0 square miles (28.4 km ) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km ) of it (0.18%) is water.As of the census of 2000, there were 1,115 people, 347 households, and 274 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 101.6 people per square mile (39.2/km ). There were 360 housing units at an average density of 32.8/sq mi (12.7/km ). The racial makeup of the CDP was 15.25% White, 0.36% African American, 0.27% Native American, 48.61% Asian, 9.60% Pacific Islander, 0.54% from other races, and 25.38% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.10% of the population.
