Walter McKennon Denny (October 28, 1853 – November 5, 1926) was a U.S. Representative from Mississippi.Born in Moss Point, Mississippi, Denny attended the common schools and Roanoke College, Salem, Virginia. He was graduated from the law department of the University of Mississippi at Oxford in 1874. He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He served as clerk of the circuit and chancery courts of Jackson County, Mississippi, from November 1883 until January 1, 1895. He served as delegate to the State constitutional convention in 1890.
