Taieb is the composer of The Alchemist's Symphony with Juilliard professor Philip Lasser (1997) RCA Red Seal USA. Editions Alphonse Leduc France. He studied conducting with Rolf Reuter in Berlin.Philip Lasser (born 1963) is an American composer, pianist, and music theorist. He is a professor of music at the Juilliard School in New York City.[1] He is author of an academic work on the contrapuntal analysis of music entitled The Spiraling Tapestry, published by Rassel Editions.[2] His piece Twelve Variations on a Chorale by J. S. Bach has been recorded by pianist Simone Dinnerstein on the Telarc record label.
