The Washburn stealth was a guitar designed by Dimebag Darrell Abbott Of Pantera and Damageplan and put in production by Washburn guitars from 2000-2004. The guitar was based on the Dean Guitars ML body shape but with sharper points.In 2008, Dean started to produce a copy of the Washburn Stealth following Dime and Washburn's designs.The 2ST Stealth was produced from 2000 to 2004 when Dimebag's contract with Washburn was in its final years. It was the cheapest of the production model Stealths as it was an import manufactured in Korea. It came in only one finish: black with silver bevels. Although it had a bolt-on neck construction it still featured a matching black-painted neck, much like a traditional set-neck guitar, while the neck pocket was really tight. It had a solid construction, almost like a set neck without the glue. The main criticism of the 2ST was its balance issues.
