High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Web Browser for S60 or the S60 OSS Browser, is a web browser for the S60 mobile phone platform developed by Nokia. The browser is based on a port of Apple Inc.'s open source WebCore and JavaScriptCore frameworks which form the WebKit rendering engine that Apple uses in its Safari Web browser. These frameworks were themselves based on software ported from the KDE project (KHTML and KJS). Unlike some other mobile phone browsers which reformat pages to a suitable width for small mobile phone screens, Nokia's web browser allows the user to see a thumbnail image of the full web page which they call "mini maps" and allows users to zoom into the areas they want to read.
