It has been tested to be compatible with Firefox, Flock, and Seamonkey. The extension was developed by Chris Pederick who has also authored the User Agent Switcher extension. Web Developer was a grand prize winner in Mozilla's 2006 "Extend Firefox" competition and it is one of the few extensions specifically recommended by the Firefox developers. An information resource is identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and may be a web page, image, video, or other piece of content.
