High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Wolfgang Huber (born August 12, 1942) is a former bishop of the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. Bishop Dr. Wolfgang Huber has been Chairman of the Council of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) since 2003 and succeeded Manfred Kock. He was succeeded by Bishop Margot Kassmann, the first woman in that position.Huber was the youngest of five brothers and lived during his childhood in the Black Forest in south-west Germany. He married Kara Huber and is the father of two sons and one daughter. His mother was a lawyer and his father was Ernst Rudolf Huber, a lawyer and German constitutional scholar.
