The Wright Model R was a one-seat biplane built by the Wright Company in Dayton, Ohio, in 1910. Known as the "Roadster" or the "Baby Wright," the company designed the airplane for speed and altitude competitions. It flew at the Belmont Park meet in New York in 1910, and Orville Wright flew a Model R at speeds of between 113 and 129 kilometers (70-80 miles) per hour.
