High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Xenis Emputae Travelling Band is a musical endeavour by British multi-instrumentalist Phil Legard. Inspired by the folklore and atmosphere of various locations in the English countryside, XETB plays a blend of ambient electronics and psychedlic folk. XETB was started in 2001, and has since released numerous releases, both on Phil's own label Larkfall, and on various other underground labels. Folklore consists of culture, including stories, music, dance, legends, oral history, proverbs, jokes, popular beliefs, customs and so forth within a particular population comprising the traditions (including oral traditions) of that culture, subculture, or group. It is also the set of practices through which those expressive genres are shared. The academic and usually ethnographic study of folklore is sometimes called folkloristics.
