When it was built in 1967, it was the tallest building made of poured-in-place exposed aggregate concrete. It is also the tallest building in Rochester. It was initially used as the headquarters of Xerox Corporation. It is sometimes referred to by employees as the 'Toner Tower' in reference to the building's dark gray color and Xerox's printer business. The Digital X Xerox logo was removed from the top of the building in 2005 because the company no longer used that logo.
