High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Xifeng jiu is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from barley and pea flavoured baijiu. It is produced in Shaanxi and Fengxiang, China. Shaanxi is a province in the Northwest China region of the People's Republic of China, and includes portions of the Loess Plateau on the middle reaches of the Yellow River as well as the Qinling Mountains across the southern part of the province. It is the historical home, along with Gansu of the dialect of the Dungans, who are Hui who migrated to Central Asia. By regular Hanyu Pinyin rules, if tone marks are not written, both Shaanxi and the neighbouring province of Shanxi should be spelled "Shanxi"; the difference is in tone: Sh?nx? and Sh?nx?.
