Born in Germany, but of Iranian descent, Yasmine studied Art History in Florence, Architecture in the Ecole d'Interieur in Geneva and Interior Design at the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, as well as Architecture and Interior Design at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she got her diploma. In 1986, she founded her first studio in Los Angeles. In 1992, she opened studios in Hamburg and Berlin, Germany, and later in Barcelona and London. Her portfolio of work includes complete interior design concepts for hotels, restaurants, shopping centres, office complexes and multiuse projects. She also designs furniture and exhibitions.
