Born November 14, 1975 Father Dr. Ivan Restrepo and Martha Alicia Rodriguez (economists). One of the most well known Dj's and remix producers in Mexico. Considered one of the Pioneers of Dance and House music in his native country. Also one of the most important Disco and Garage music collectors. During 1990, Restrepo got his first job as a Dj . By the end of that year, he competed in the first DJ Championships, "La Opera 1990" in Queretaro. He didn't win, but he was more involved with the professional DJs that assist to the Finals and semifinals. 1991 was a very important year for Yaxkin. That year, he got his first job as DJ in Mexico City in the Club Vertigo with DJ Miguel Alanis. Later, he was invited to collaborate at Tiffany's club. By the middle of 1991, Yaxkin collaborated with DJs and producer Joaquin Diaz and Mauricio Ponce (Both residents of Magic Circus club) in the production of the mix sets of the 7th anniversary of the WFM Radio station.
