High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Yolanda Castano Pereira (Santiago de Compostela, 1977) is a Galician painter, literacy critic and poet in Galician language. Since 1990, she has lived in Corunna, where she studied Spanish Philology at the University of A Coruna. She translated her poems to Spanish and has been General Secretary at the Association of Galician-language Writers (Asociacion de Escritores en Lingua Galega, AELG) and at Letras de Cal. She has also collaborated with many publications such as Festa da palabra silenciada, Dorna, A xanela, Clave Orion, La Flama en el Espejo, Quimera, O Correo Galego (El Correo Gallego), A nosa terra, Elipse, Enclave, El Mundo… She's the director of the journal Valdeleite together with Olga Novo and works at the TV programme Cifras e Letras (TVG version of Countdown).
