High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Yonrico Scott is a Grammy Award-winning drummer and percussionist. He is a member of The Derek Trucks Band and is bandleader of the Yonrico Scott Band. Scott joined the Derek Trucks Band in 1995. As the second permanent member (after bassist Todd Smallie) of the current band with Derek Trucks, by 2010, he had contributed to the songwriting and performed on every one of the band's six studio albums and both of their live albums. Fifteen years later, in 2010, Scott picked up a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album as a member of The Derek Trucks Band at the 52nd Grammy Awards, for their 2009 album, Already Free. Scott is recording a new solo album at Sit-N-Spin Recording Studios in Greenville, SC.
