High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Yoon Yeo-jeong (born on June 19, 1947 ~ ) is a South Korean actress. When Yoon was a freshman of Hanyang University with a major in Korean literature, she was chosen as a TV actress in a public recruit by TBC TV. Yoon was cast in the lead role in Mister Bear (Mister Gom) one year after her debut, and gained popularity. The public found her fast way of speaking and characteristic appearance "refreshing" and she frequently took roles in TV dramas depicting a modern woman of the new generation. On the other hand, in the TV drama Jang Hee-bin and the 1971 film Woman of Fire directed by Kim Ki-young, Yoon showed a totally different image from her usual roles as a femme fatale. Her performance in Woman of Fire garnered Best Actress recognition from various film awards. However, Yoon retired from her career after she married singer Cho Young Nam, then immigrated to the United States. In 1985, she came back home to Korea, divorced Cho, and returned to acting.
