Some of the tracks have made it into mainstream culture, as the track "Again With the Subtitles" was featured in the movie 21 and the track "It's Not the Same" was featured in the game Alone in the Dark, as well as in the House episode "Last Resort", all from 2008. Yppah (pronounced "Yippah"), aka Joe Corrales Jr., is electronic/rock musician signed to Ninja Tune records. He currently resides in Houston, Texas. His early teen years were spent playing guitar and bass in rock bands, his later ones as a scratch DJ who mixed Hip Hop and house in club sets, produced weird mashups (Outkast v Ted Nugent) and was part of a turntablist group called "The Truth". Heavily influenced by shoegaze, various electronic music, psychedelic soul and rock, his music often mixes guitars shoved through massive reverbs/delays, keyboards/synthesizers, live drums, and other techniques.
