High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Young Parisians is the debut single of Adam and the Ants, released on Decca Records, on 20 October 1978, being produced by the band's singer Adam Ant and future Berlin Jo Julian. Other members were Andy Warren (on bass), Dave Barbarossa (on drums) and Matthew Ashman (on guitar). Then the band were combining the punk sounding of their early days with the experimentation who later conformed their first two albums, Dirk Wears White Sox and Kings of the Wild Frontier (in which only was featured Adam Ant as the remaining member of the debut single line-up). The A-side song, the eponymous "Young Parisians", was an acoustic song, while the B-side, "Lady", song demonstrated the speedy punk sound of the band.
